Purpose of establishment: This association is a non-profit social organization established in accordance with the law. This association promotes the development of homestays in the tourism industry in areas that combine traditional Minnan architecture, natural landscape, and ecological environment resources.

Mission of the Association: In order to integrate the county's homestay resources, improve the quality and service of the operators, and provide tourists with a legal and better accommodation environment, the Jinmen County Homestay Tourism Development Association was established in 1994, and it has reached the eighth level. By the end of the year, with the concerted efforts of members and previous directors and supervisors, the number of members has increased to 180 (as of April 12, 2020).

Kinmen County, which has been the happiest city in the country for several consecutive years, has rich historical and cultural assets, historical relics of battles and well-protected natural ecology, as well as the calmness and relaxation that you can feel in your breath. The Jinmen Homestay Tourism Development Association hopes to be able to develop in a sustainable manner, and its missions are as follows:

1. Matters related to promoting the development of the homestay industry and exchanges and cooperation between organizations and agencies.
2. Matters related to assisting members in establishing and operating homestays.
3. Matters concerning the promotion of strategic alliances in the homestay industry and related industry exchanges.
4. Matters concerning the promotion of homestay classification and integrated marketing.
5. Matters concerning the maintenance of the rights and interests of members operating homestays.
6. Matters related to inviting experts and scholars to hold homestay management seminars and education training.
7. Regarding the statutory exclusive tasks of other public and private organizations, groups or individuals, the association shall not be allowed to host, and shall not be listed as a sponsored project, but those who can be co-organized may be listed as a co-organized project.
